My First Blog Post - taking the plunge

Well, I'm taking the plunge and starting a blog on my new updated website! I am so excited to be able to share with you through this form of media, many of the weddings and events that we design! I hope you enjoy seeing the finished product as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Someone has said, "Find something that you LOVE to do and you will never work a day in your life." That is how I feel about designing floral and decor for weddings and events. I enjoy, almost, every aspect of my job. I get excited to meet a new bride or client. I get beside myself hearing their love story and trying to brainstorm with them the best way to convey that through every aspect of their wedding day! I love the look on their face at the end of the consultation when they realize that just through this one time together that they have so much checked off their 'to do' list. I love seeing their expression on their wedding day when they walk into the venue and see their flowers and all the special little touches that we had discussed come to life. All the things that they stressed over before just slip away into pure delight and with tears in their eyes they acknowledge that their dreams came to reality! I love returning at the end of the night, to clean up, to have the purely exhausted bride whisper to me in her hug, "Thank you for everything! It was amazing". Day made!
